Everyone is saying that .12 gram bbs tear up and ruin the L96 Warrior airsoft gun’s barrel. I don’t see how.

They won’t especially damage the barrel (well they will, but only long after the rest of the gun has been ruined by them).

What they will ruin (and quickly) is your hopup.

You really need to be using 0.25g or 0.28g ammo with that gun. If you use 0.12g you won’t be able to hit anything beyond 20 feet away… not a good trait in a sniper I would have thought…

Barrel racing is a tough sport on rider and horse. Barrel horses are athletes that need to be in really good condition when running barrels. A horse that is not in good condition and started on barrels may get sore and the pain associated with running barrels. This can lead to problems that are difficult to correct.

If you plan to start a horse in barrels or are receiving an experienced horse in shape, start in your preparation before being placed on the barrel pattern. Long trotting and slow galloping are the two best ways to get a horse in top condition. These winds will build up muscle and lung capacity allowing the horse to a better performance and not short of breath after a race. Part of getting your horse in shape is to build your lung capacity and endurance. Having an exercise program for your horse is the best way to control what the exercise of your horse is receiving. This makes it easier to add or remove portions of the program according to their status and needs.

Finding a good, safe place to exercise your horse. A scenario is good because of the cushion of dirt or sand, but can become very boring for you and your horse. If you have a large pasture that you can do most of the exercise there. Dirt roads without rocks are good for this because the landscape is not so repetitive. Make sure you do not exercise your horse in a field that is very difficult, as roads, cement or icy ground. Always put protective boots on his horse's legs before riding to protect the legs from injury.

To get your horse a barrel on the condition that they must work until mounted six eight miles three or four days a week. These days should consist of warming up with a walk, slow trot and gallop. In the beginning you should do more walking and slowly take the time to walk and added to the trotting and cantering segments. After walking half a mile, alternate long trotting and slow galloping half a mile. Do this for one week and then add another half a mile. It can take months to achieve full six to eight miles, but getting a horse in the best condition requires time and patience. Always be sure and give your horse at least one day off a week and not ride hard every day. Horses become bored with the routine and can start to misbehave. Remember that not working too hard on the same day or the day just before a competition.
