How do I remove permanent marker and spray paint from my door easily?

Someone has vandalised my front door with some sort of solvent permanent marker pen type thing, how can I remove it without painting over it.

Try methylated spirits or white spirit. Brass cleaner (Brasso) sometimes works.

If they do not work try specialist stain removing solvents.

Be aware that the solvent in the pen may have partially dissolved the paint and you may not be able to remove it all.

Good luck.

That is pimp your ride.

First you will have to decide whether to paint the entire board, or simply great design. I'll walk you through both processes.

Step 1: Things you need.

Auto spray acrylic paint:

– The inner layer (1 x 150ml CAN).

– Main Color (I used 3 x 150ml cans of Holts, color: Aurora).

– Transparent top layer (about 300 ml).

If you want to make designs funky you need water based paint pens. The Board noted Brophy legendary artist sells Sharpie pens.

A roll of low tack tape.

A sheet of 600 grit sandpaper.

A newspaper.

Step 2: Clean.

Prepare an area airy, wind or you'll get plastered all over mistakes.

Pull off the platform to tread carefully (gently with a spatula lever while pulling). Or you can leave the tape on it with the paper further, if you want to do a quick job and paint around.

Now clean on board. I mean really clean. Scrape the wax then the Board of scrub thoroughly to remove all traces of wax, salt and dirt (you can use a wax cucumber for this). Do not use any harsh solvents or memory can be melted into a mess of propagation. Repair Dings.

Step 3: Sanding.

Give it a light sand, but underneath it all. Do not be lazy when it comes to sanding. I spared no place in this step and paint chipping off in places.

This is particularly important in high-use areas, such as the nose, rails and tail.

Step 4: spray paint.

Set the Board until you can maintain the vertical when the spray cans. Use long, smooth horizontal strokes that overlap a little.

It is preferable to Nice a couple of layers thin, even as the paint trickle and look crap if you spray it on too thick.

If You Suck in the practice of spray paint in the first newspaper. Paint the less visible areas to begin with (like fins or around the top deck, where the wax goes).

Read paint instructions for time drying.

A layer of layer, then two coats of your primary color. Give a light sand between coats.

If you have multiple tape out of other colors areas with newspaper to protect them.

Funky Designs Step 5:.

For water use based on a marker madness pens to make designs. They allow a lot of color and detail.

You can also tape any spray em templates.

Outlining a first project. Brave Surf THINK BIG recommend it for its design, and little things that used to appear.

Do not worry if you mess up. Just tape over the rest design, re-spray which is stuffed up, then start again.

Step 6: the top layer.

Finish with two or three layers of clear coat.

Now you can say it is a Tuflite and flick a gambler on eBay.

You will be millions.
