I remember playing air hockey as a child, and a lot of fun, although I do not remember having specific guidelines that plays just go to him in a fierce competition (but fun). Air hockey tables had been around for less than eight years, when the air hockey became a sport competition. This means only slight movements necessary to protect the goal of straight shots, bank shots can be prevented by quickly pulling the deck back into the corners of the goal.
