What is the air temperature coming out of a clothes dryer vent?

I am looking for the temperature of the exhaust air coming out of a clothes dryer. My husband is a large appliance repair man, and he has searched all the information at his disposal, including service manuals, etc. He has been unable to come up with any conclusive exhaust air temperatures for the average home clothes dryer.

The air coming into the dryer drum from the heat chamber behind the bulkhead in the rear of the unit would be the hottest it’s going to get. I suspect that once it enters the drum, hits the cooler clothes and starts tumbling around before being sucked out and exhausted out the back vent, it cools considerably. Having felt hundreds upon hundreds of dryer exhaust vents after repairs I’d have to say the temp of the air is probably 120 or less. It’s really not that hot anymore.
