How to breed Blue rams?
I have a pair of ram. And the female totally do not want to breed. She clamps her fin and lose her colors when the male chases her. I feed them high quality brine shrimp 4 times a day and do 20% water changes every 2 days.
What should i do to trigger them into breeding conditions??
According to http://www.aquatic-hobbyist.com/profiles/breeding/bluerambreeding.html , “Rams require very soft water for breeding. The pH level is not critical in my experience; hardness is much more of a factor to pay attention to. To spur spawning, a conductivity level of approximately 50-250 US (hardness 25-125ppm) is ideal, though some captive specimens may spawn at a slightly higher TDS. Temperature for spawning rams should be in the low 80s. Too much higher than this and the fish will be adversely affected. I’ve found 80-82 to be an ideal breeding temperature. Spawning can sometimes be induced in finicky pairs by a water change with slightly cooler water. This simulates the rainy season and will indicate to the fish that it is the season for spawning. ”
There are lots of personal anecdotes from ram owners and breeders on http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_German_Blue_Ram_Mikrogeophagus_ramirezi.php
That’s the first of four pages.
And there’s a spawning journal with one person’s successes and failures on http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87097&page=6
I hope that helps. It’s probably the water hardness. They need really soft water to breed.

The injection molding machine becomes raw plastic granules or pellets in the final molded parts via a fusion, injection, packaging and the cycle of frescoes.
The components of the machine Injection molding
A typical injection molding machine consists of the following major components,
- Injection system
- Hydraulics
- Mold System
- System Clamping
- Cooling System
- Control System
Injection System
The injection system consists of a hopper, a reciprocating screw and barrel assembly and an injection nozzle. This system of limits and transports the plastic as it progresses through the feeding, compressing, degassing, casting, injection and packing stages.
Hydraulics
The hydraulic system in the injection molding machine provides the power to open and close the mold, build and maintain the clamping tonnage, turn the screw piston, screw Alternative power unit and ejector pins and mold cores movement. A number of hydraulic components are required to provide this power, which includes pumps, valves, hydraulic motors, hydraulic fittings, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic reservoirs.
The molding system
The system consists of cast tie rods, stationary and moving platens and molding plates (bases) the cavity of the house, sprue and runner systems, ejector pins, and cooling channels. The mold is essentially a heat exchanger in which the molten thermoplastic solidifies into the desired shape and dimensional details defined by the cavity.
Clamping System
The clamping system opens and closes the mold, supports and leads to the constituent parts of the mold and creates strong enough to prevent mold from opening. Clamping force can be generated by a mechanic (alternate), hydraulic lock or a combination of the two basic types.
Cooling System
The cooling time is by far the most dominate time consumption in the injection molding cycle. A long cycle time means that the modeler should charge more for the same part. During the product design that we use thermal analysis capabilities to specify the cooling design for the tools. The result is a low-cost tool that runs fast and keep your cost per piece as low as possible.
Control System
The control system provides consistency and repeatability in machine operation. Monitor and control the processing parameters, including temperature, pressure, speed of injection, screw speed, position and the position of hydraulics. The control process has a direct impact on the final part quality and economy the process.
